The 10 year plan.

Well Kids,
Its that time of year again where I have to say goodbye to summer and being a total lazy ass and get up and do something with my life. See if I liked school, this wouldn't be a problem. BUT I HATE SCHOOL. I have the worst problem with... I don't know.. going to class. This is why my 11 year old niece is probably going to graduate college before I do. See here's how the family dynamic works. Mom is a teacher, went to Steubenville University. Dad is a (pencil pushing tour geek) god like construction services guy for the PGA Tour, went to The Ohio State University. My sister Kara.. whom we also lovingly refer to as MFC... Moms favorite child, went to school at UCSD, UF and NOW The New England College of Optometry. Genius I know. She got the brains, I got the boobs. Moving on... Will (Dad's favorite child) has played football at what seems like 20 different schools and is going for his second degree at Minnesota State at Mankato. And me? What have I done to live up to these two over achievers. Nothing. Awesome right. I graduated high school in 2007, started at UNF... HATED it. I mean what kind of a college doesn't have football... that's just downright INSANE. Now I am at FSCJ.. Florida State College of Jacksonville.. wooo hooooo! Now don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to bitch here..just trying to show you why my family .. and anyone else who knows me jokes about the 10 year plan. No I'm not an idiot.. I'm really very smart. I just suck at getting to class. However this year, as much as it scares me to say it.. I am turning over a new leaf. See I know one day I will make a really great nurse. Hell, Mayo Clinic is my second home. However, that means getting to class and god forbid I say it.... homework. Scary I know. I know that I can do it, it's just going to take a lot of nagging from my mother . As long as my crazy dog Tank doesn't eat anymore of my math books.. we should be straight! So all of you other 10 year planners.. cheers. To those who have a degree.. congrats and bug off at the same time. Its fall and that means two things, SCHOOL and FOOTBALL... so everyone have a good first few weeks of school, then we can all nonstop bitch about how we want it to be December!
